‘Paperhouse’

Daydreams, nightmares and the world of art and imagination are the subjects of Bernard Rose’s 1989 British film. In “Paperhouse’s” dream world, the light is pitiless, full of harsh surfaces--a world ready to crack open over a hellish, fiery core. Much of the movie is set in the mind of a sick, bedridden little girl (Charlotte Burke), creating her own territory on paper and in the inner chambers of her mind. With Elliot Spiers, pictured (Bravo Monday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 9 a.m.)
