Storyteller to Spin Tales at Library

Share

Have you heard the one about Ventura County’s headless horseman? Well, local storyteller Jim Woodard will share this and other tales Saturday at a “Rawhide Western Roundup” at the Reagan Presidential Library near Simi Valley.

At noon and 1:30 p.m., Woodard will tell stories on hikers caught in a vicious snowstorm in the High Sierra and of a greedy salesman who visited small towns selling “the strongest glue in the world.”

Admission to the library and program are $4 for adults and $2 for seniors and children 15 and under. Other activities outside the library, offered free of charge, include a hayride, country-western concert and petting zoo.
