The body of a slain homeless man was found early Thursday in a narrow alley between two buildings.

Investigators said the victim, who has not been identified, had been sleeping in the area of the 400 block of South Brookhurst Street.
About 1:30 a.m., a passerby found the body and contacted police, who suspect the victim died in the 3-foot wide alley.
