The Paul McNeff Singers Educational Outreach Ensemble, a 14-member volunteer choir, has won Disneyland’s Community Service Award in Cultural Arts for providing music education outreach programs to children in schools, hospitals and shelters.
Since its inception in late 1995, the ensemble has introduced its program to more than 10,000 children in Orange County. The singers visited all 30 elementary schools in the Santa Ana Unified School District, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and youth organizations.
The Fullerton-based choir is part of a larger group, Paul McNeff Singers, which will give a fund-raising performance and dinner June 22 at First Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana.
Cost for the event is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Information: (714) 525-7464.
