Jason Williams hit a two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning, rallying the U.S. national team to an 11-10 victory over Australia in Millington, Tenn. The double scored Casey Blake and Adam Kennedy to extend the U.S. winning streak to 26 games.

Earlier, the team cut six players: pitchers Matt Anderson (Rice), Scott Schoeneweis (Kentucky) and Chad Harville (Memphis) and infielders Brian Dilmore (Stanford), Clint Bryant (Texas Tech) and Scott Downs (Kentucky). The U.S. will make nine more cuts by Sunday to reach its final roster of 25.
