“Little Plays, Big Playwrights,” a festival of six one-act plays, begins June 20 at the newly renovated McCadden Theater, 1157 N. McCadden Place, Hollywood. The plays will be divided over two nights for a six-week run.

“Evening A” includes Tennessee Williams’ “The Long Goodbye”; “Life Under Water” by Richard Greenberg; and Obie winner “The Transfiguration of Benno Blimpie,” by Albert Innaurato.

“Evening B,” opening June 22, includes the premiere of “Nobody” by Howard Korder; “The Disposal” by William Inge; and “Three More Sleepless Nights,” written by Caryl Churchill and starring Frances Fisher (“Striptease,” “Unforgiven”). The play marks Fisher’s return to the theater after eight years in film and television, and her Los Angeles stage debut.
