Pianist Mickish Set for Free Recital at UCLA

Paraphrases on Wagner operas make up the program marking the Los Angeles recital debut of pianist Stefan Mickish, Saturday afternoon at 4 in the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.
Mickish will play transcriptions/paraphrases on “Die Walkure,” “Rheingold” and “Die Meistersinger” by composers Hugo Wolf, Franz Liszt and Louis Brassin, and will conclude with his own paraphrase on “Gotterdammerung.”
