Making Cents: Why is This 66-Year-Old Worker Smiling?

Virtually all people working past age 65 and 91% of those earning more than $75,000 annually are likely to be happy at work, whereas those earning $15,000 or less are most likely to be “not at all happy,” according to a survey by the Minneapolis-based Lutheran Brotherhood. About two in five workers--including those who earn the least--say they would accept lower pay for a job that made them happier.
