CSUN Hosts Home Remodeling Show

Share

About 300 exhibitors are expected this weekend at the Home Remodeling and Decoration Show on the Cal State Northridge campus.

The outdoor exhibit starts at noon Friday and continues Saturday and Sunday, starting at 10 a.m. each of those days and concluding at sunset.

As with previous shows in recent years, organizers said many of the exhibitors will demonstrate home remodeling products featuring aspects of earthquake safety. More than 40,000 people attended last year’s show, said Edward Lozzi, a spokesman for the National Exhibitors Corp., which is putting on the event.

A highlight of this weekend’s exhibit will be the first Los Angeles appearance of an elaborate mobile showroom containing model kitchens, bathrooms and spas. The semi-trailer, sponsored by the Kohler Co., has been on tour throughout the country.

CSUN’s North Campus, site of the 100,000-square-foot show, is accessible from both Devonshire Street and Lindley Avenue.

Admission is $5.75 general, $3 for senior citizens and free to children 12 and younger.
