Vacancy Filled on Advisory Committee
Jim McBride has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Los Alamitos General Plan Advisory Committee.
McBride, who has lived in Los Alamitos since 1961, will represent the Old Dutch Haven neighborhood on the committee. He served from 1965 to 1968 on the Los Alamitos Board of Zoning Adjustments, which was later renamed the city Planning Commission.
The City Council, which appointed McBride to the panel Monday, chose Tom Kneeshaw as an alternate from Old Dutch Haven. He will attend meetings in McBride’s absence.
