Dana Hills’ School of the Arts Program to Expand Next Fall
Artistically inclined junior high and high school students will get a chance to participate this fall in a new visual and performing-arts programs at Dana Hills High School.
During the just-concluded school year, Dana Hills launched its South Orange County School of the Arts pilot program, a “school within a school” that provided conservatory-style arts programs.
The choir placed first at an international festival in Vancouver, British Columbia, chairwoman Debby Kerner Rettino said, and the group wants to expand the program next school year.
So far, most of the students have been recruited from Capistrano Unified School District and Dana Hills High.
