Compaq Computer Corp. Restructures Units: The world’s biggest personal computer maker said it will realign its product divisions into three groups, aimed at various customer segments: an enterprise computing group, a PC products group and a consumer products group. John T. Rose will lead the enterprise computing group, which will focus on servers, a new workstation business and Internet-related products. Michael Winkler will lead the PC products group, which will focus on desktop and portable computers, a new communications business and products aimed at small and medium-sized businesses. The consumer products group will be directed by Michael Heil, Compaq said.
