Pervical Named to All-Star Team

Angel pitcher Chuck Finley and Troy Percival (right) were named to the American League All-Star game, to be played Tuesday at Philadelphia. It will be the first All-Star appearance for Percival, who has emerged as one of the league’s top relief pitchers.
Dodger pitcher Todd Worrell was named to the National League All-Star team. Teammate Mike Piazza will be a starter, having received the most votes in the All-Star balloting among National League players.
