Star-Base Corp.: StarBase Corp.: The Irvine development-stage software company reported a net loss of $5.9 million, or 81 cents a share, for the fiscal year ended March 31, compared with a net loss of $7.7 million, or $1.53 a share, for the prior year. Revenue dropped to $991,000 from $3.5 million.

For the fourth quarter, the company said it lost $1.3 million, or 16 cents a share, compared with a year-earlier net loss of $3.1 million, or 59 cents a share. Revenue declined to $264,000 from $831,000. The company said the results for the fiscal year reflect a company reorganization, including the discontinuation of its consulting division.
