Hariston Corp. Reports $802,000 Loss

Hariston Corp. reported a first-quarter net loss of $802,000, or 7 cents a share, on revenue of $1.8 million. The holding company said there were no comparable year-earlier figures because of the divestiture of certain assets and operations and the acquisition of new operating entities.

All revenue was from the company’s Educorp Multimedia subsidiary, a publisher of adult-learning interactive multimedia software and a direct-marketing distributor of CD-ROM titles.
