USMC Copters Do Fly Over Homes
In her June 23 letter, Rose Esposito states that military planes only fly over nonresidential areas. Gee, how nice for her that it doesn’t bother her, but she obviously has no clue about the flight pattern or she’d know that those obnoxiously loud helicopters fly right over very residential Irvine!
They may as well land on my roof, because it sounds like they’re going to. Of course, we hear all of the military aircraft, but the helicopters are particularly annoying when trying to put babies down to nap.
It’s bad enough we put up with leaf blowers, mowers, edgers and hedge trimmers in a constant barrage of noise. We don’t need military or commercial aircraft adding to the noise pollution! No new airport!
