. . . UC Irvine’s founding chancellor, Dan Aldrich, 68, was named interim chancellor of UC Santa Barbara, one year after serving as interim chancellor at UC Riverside following his retirement from UCI.
Aldrich stepped in after UC Santa Barbara Chancellor Robert A. Huttenback resigned. “I’ve been around before,” Aldrich said. “And I think I can be of help.”
