Obituaries : Alfred ‘Gino’ Reiff; Former Circus Acrobat

Alfred “Gino” Reiff, a former acrobat with Ringling Brothers & Barnum Bailey Circus, died Friday at his Simi Valley home after a brief illness. He was 55.
Born in Dresden, Germany, Reiff traveled around the world as a circus performer. He eventually settled in Simi Valley, where he worked as a store manager for Preferred Glass.
Reiff had many interests and liked to spend time with his friends.
He is survived by his companion, Cindy Westfall of Simi Valley; a son, Chris, and a daughter, Suzie, both of Northridge.
A date for a memorial gathering has not yet been chosen, but those wishing to attend are asked to contact Guardian Memorial Funeral Directors & Crematory in Oxnard for information.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Aids Care of Ventura County.
