Goalie Perfect in Shootout as Revolution Defeats Crew

New England goalkeeper Jim St. Andre was perfect in the tiebreaker round, stopping three attempts, and the Revolution defeated the Columbus Crew, 2-1, in a shootout Thursday night in Major League Soccer.

A crowd of 13,751 watched the Crew lose its fifth consecutive home game.

The Revolution scored on their three consecutive shootout attempts as St. Andre made the three saves in the shortest shootout in the league this season.

Alberto Naveda, Ted Chronopoulos and Paul Keegan scored in the shootout for the Revolution (3-8-5).

The Crew (3-11-2) is last in the Eastern Conference.
