Jordan Was Scratched by Back
Ricky Jordan was a last-minute scratch from the JetHawk lineup on Wednesday night because of back spasms, though he still rejoined the Seattle Mariners on Thursday.
Jordan was 10 for 31 during his seven-game rehabilitation assignment.
“I don’t think I’m all the way back,” said Jordan, who had rotator cuff surgery in May. “It’s tough to go 60 days without playing then come back in one week.”

Manager Dave Brundage took advantage of his team’s day off Thursday to reshuffle his rotation. Marino Santana will pitch tonight, followed by Ken Cloude, Greg Wooten, Brett Hinchliffe and Trey Moore.
Saturday was to be Hinchliffe’s turn, but Brundage wanted to give the touted Cloude and Wooten their normal four days of rest.
Moore, who complained of stiffness in his arm, was able to miss a turn because the Mariners sent Bob Wolcott down for a start Wednesday night during the All-Star break.

Tonight’s Game: JetHawks (Marino Santana, 7-9, 4.39) at San Bernardino (Dennis Reyes, 7-8, 4.20), 7:05.
