Team Paul Mitchell Wins Three Matches at Huntington Beach

Team Paul Mitchell won three games Friday to take the early lead in women’s pool play at the Bud Light Pro Beach Volleyball League tournament at Huntington Beach.

Paul Mitchell, seeking its first tournament title of the season, defeated Norelco, 15-5; Sony Autosound, 15-6; and Nike, 15-10.

Norelco, which has won two consecutive tournaments, bounced back after losing to Paul Mitchell and defeated Nike, 15-4, and Discus Athletic, 15-13.

Sony Autosound was 1-1 after Friday’s pool play, Discus Athletic 1-2 and Nike 0-3.

Play begins at 8 a.m. today.
