Welfare Mother Milking Taxpayers

* While reading Nick Green’s article on free summer breakfasts and lunches for kids in Ventura County (July 5), I was disgusted by the story of the unemployed single mother on welfare with eight kids who is milking the taxpayer for all it’s worth.
This is not the story of a single woman temporarily down on her luck, but rather a grossly irresponsible individual who doesn’t care how her kids are raised or who foots the bill. If ever there were a case to be made for sterilizing out-of-control irresponsible women, this is it.
When will we wake up and end this tragedy of our society?
