Council race--An article Sunday omitted the name of the city in which computer systems consultant Tom Lee is running for City Council. He is running in Thousand Oaks.

“I will look for creative ways to streamline and downsize our city government,” he said in a news release. “I will work to privatize many government operations, such as city payroll services and city landscaping, and use the savings to repeal or reduce recent increases in our lighting and landscape assessment district taxes.”

Lee said he has received the endorsements of such influential community leaders as Assemblyman Nao Takasugi and former Assemblyman Tom McClintock.
