Developer Agrees to Scale Back Project
Developers of a sprawling Camarillo housing tract on 21 acres between Mission Oaks Boulevard and Adolfo Road have agreed to scale back the subdivision from 96 houses to 91.
The downsizing was proposed after the developer, Pardee Construction of Los Angeles, opted to begin work early on another, nearby development.
Amendments to the construction permit and neighborhood map were approved unanimously by the Camarillo Planning Commission late Tuesday.
But city engineers also requested that some of the streets and lot layouts be redesigned in an effort to improve the expected traffic circulation and ease construction of the subdivision next door.
