Re “After Mixed Verdict, King Looks to the Future,” July 12: So Rodney King wants to take singing lessons, perfect his surfing, go skiing and practice tai chi. How nice!
Meanwhile, an enormous population of law-abiding people work hard to pay their debts, keep a roof over their heads, food on the table, their car insurance paid up and are lucky to afford a couple of movies each month.
Am I wrong to feel bitter because neither I nor any member of my family is in any trouble with the law, cannot sue the city, and therefore must continue struggling while being considered responsible citizens?
