ICU Medical Inc.: The San Clemente maker of medical connectors said profit for the second quarter rose 42% to $1.3 million, or 14 cents a share, from $890,000, or 12 cents a share, a year ago. Sales were up 2% to $6.1 million from $6 million. First-half profit was $2.9 million, or 32 cents a share, 81% higher than the $1.6 million, or 22 cents a share, for the 1995 first half. Sales increased 7% to $12.2 million from $11.4 million.
