Willie J. Hagan, a top administrator at the University of Connecticut, has been appointed vice president of administration at Cal State Fullerton.

Hagan, who will begin his new job Aug. 5, was chosen by University President Milton A. Gordon after a nationwide search that yielded more than 75 candidates.

“His diverse administrative background, as well as his extensive experience in public higher education, makes him an ideal fit with the specific responsibilities and duties of our administration,” Gordon said of Hagan.
