Bait Shop Sponsors Youth Fishing Lessons

Children 16 and younger can learn the finer points of fishing at a summer program sponsored by Pier Tackle, a fishing equipment and bait shop at the end of San Clemente Pier.

Classes are from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesdays through Aug. 28. Students must bring their own fishing gear and line. The cost for the lesson is $3 per person. Information: (714) 492-8335.
