Opportunities to Help : Volunteers / Helping hands
What: Spanish speakers.
Mission: To help Spanish-speaking families with a history of child abuse. The support program at the Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Center of Orange County begins with an eight-hour training session, after which volunteers make a three-month commitment to help a family. The next training session is Aug. 3 at the center, 2482 Newport Blvd., Suite 7, Costa Mesa.
