Simi Rotary Club Contributes to 23 Charities

* The Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise contributed $31,650 to the coffers of 23 local charities. The organizations receiving the donations include:

American Cancer Society ($2,500), American Heart Assn. ($2,500), American Red Cross ($1,500), Boys & Girls Club of Simi Valley ($5,000), Care and Share ($1,000), Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center ($1,500), Disadvantaged Youth Sports ($500), Food Share ($1,000), Girl Scouts ($750), Simi Valley Explorer Scouts ($1,500), Interface ($1,000), Multiple Sclerosis ($500), OASIS ($500), Redbird ($500), Salvation Army ($1,500), Samaritan Center ($1,500), Simi Valley Police Reserves ($1,000), Soweto UNICEF Project ($500), Special Awareness Computer Center ($1,000), The Wellness Community ($1,000) and YMCA ($1,500).
