Obituaries : Alice M. Stachowiak; Research Clerk
Alice M. Stachowiak of Ventura, a retired research clerk, has died at the age of 92.
Stachowiak, a 17-year resident of Ventura County, was born May 30, 1904, in Schenectady, N.Y.
She worked as a research clerk for Gale Publishing and Research Co. for 15 years before retiring.
Stachowiak was a member of the Ventura Polish Eagles Society and worshiped at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Ventura.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Stachowiak of Elmwood Park, Ill., and Adele Alberts of Oxnard; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A burial Mass will be said Tuesday at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Ventura. A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura. Friends may call the funeral home from 2 to 7 p.m.
Interment will follow Mass at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
