This IsN’t Awkward?

Although I enjoyed Tim Appelo’s “The Millennium Looms: Do You Know What to Call the New Century?” (June 23), I believe that a stone has been left unturned. We in Los Angeles, the fitness capital of the world, have a chance to maintain our reputation for being on the cutting edge of contemporary trends. My choice is to refer to 2000 not as the obvious and cumbersome “two-thousand” or as the equally klutzy “two-oh-oh-oh” or “20-oh-oh” but simply as “2K.”
