CFTC Uses Internet for Investors’ Complaints: The Commodity Futures Trading Commission said it has set up a Web page on the Internet through which the public can contact its enforcement division and report abuses or complaints involving futures trading. The page (https://www.cftc.gov/enf) will also give the public information about wrongdoing that he agency usually investigates in the futures market, it said. The agency can also be contacted through its e-mail address: enforcement@cftc.gov. Acting CFTC Chairman John Tull said the agency took the move to protect the public from those who tout futures and options deals “that are too good to be true.” The CFTC said the Web page will also provide access to the CFTC’s Proceedings Bulletin, which lists agency enforcement actions and sanctions against individuals and firms, including information on pending cases.
