Alpha Micro Sells Unit

Alpha Microsystems said it is selling its subsidiary, Alpha Microsystems Great Britain, to Sanderson Electronics for $2.1 million in Sanderson stock. The transaction also involves Alpha Micro’s Sabre Business Systems Ltd. units in Dublin and Belfast.

The two software companies also have agreed to discuss future alliances, said Douglas J. Tullio, president and chief executive of Alpha Microsystems.
