Longtime MCA Executive VP Retires
Joseph A. Fischer retired after nine years as executive vice president of the MCA Motion Picture Group. Fischer’s 30-year career in the entertainment industry also included service as president of MGM/UA and executive vice president of Columbia Pictures Industries.

* Mitch Ackerman has been promoted to executive vice president of television production at Walt Disney Television.
* Mark Feldman has been promoted to senior vice president of business and legal affairs at E! Entertainment Television.
* Dave Yeskel has been named vice president of sales and Ron McCarrell has been named vice president of marketing for Windham Hill/High Street Records.
