Cal Lutheran to Present Scholarships
Cal Lutheran University will award six students Community Leaders Club scholarships--honoring community volunteerism--at the club’s annual Kick-Off Dinner on Sept. 5.
Students receiving $1,000 scholarships are:
Shawna Swanson and Heidi Kneff, both of Simi Valley, Tiffany Coakley of Thousand Oaks and Peter Aldama of Los Angeles.
Two students will receive $500 endowed scholarships, which honor academic achievements and community service. Lisa Loberg is the recipient of the Mark and Jean Mathews Endowed Scholarship. Peter Berg of Fountain Valley will receive the the Community Leaders Club Endowed Scholarship.
During the awards ceremony, a club member, as yet unannounced, will receive the William E. Hamm Outstanding Service Award, honoring exemplary service to the club and the community.
