4-Year-Old Hurt in Fall From Window
A 4-year-old Oak Park boy was listed in stable condition Tuesday night after falling from a second-story window onto a concrete patio, police said.
The boy, whom police did not identify, had apparently climbed on a window sill at a residence in the 700 block of Clear Haven Drive while playing with his sister and was leaning against the screen when it gave way.
The children’s mother was in the bathroom and was alerted to the 12:30 p.m. accident by the sound of one of her children screaming, Police Sgt. Rod Mendoza said.
The boy sustained facial injuries and was transported to Columbia Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks.
