Chelsea Clinton surprised many delegates with a fast-paced stroll across the crowded Democratic convention floor during the roll call of the states Wednesday night.

The first daughter, 16, crisscrossed the hall with several giggling friends through a pathway instantly opened before them by security agents and convention aides.

“She’s a cutie,” said Paul Kraus, a 17-year-old from Dubuque, Iowa. “It’s probably hard for her, being the daughter of the president. But it’s important for her to get out there and talk to youth.”
