Grant Application Procedure Changed

Grant applications for community service groups will be accepted by City Hall twice a year instead of quarterly.

The City Council recently changed the funding period in order to reduce the amount of time needed to process the applications.

About $50,000 a year is allocated by the city to help support nonprofit organizations that serve Mission Viejo residents. The next deadline for applications is Nov. 1.

Nonprofit groups can request applications from the Recreation and Community Services Department at City Hall, 25909 Pala, Suite 200.
