Trojans Make Impression With Drives

Share

Considering what USC’s offense looked like against Penn State, three of the Trojans’ possessions Saturday against Illinois were remarkable for not only their length but also their staying power.

There’s no category in the USC record book for longest drives, but it’s doubtful any USC team has registered scoring drives of 95 (for a 7-3 lead), 96 (21-3) and 98 (38-3) yards.

Starter Brad Otton directed all three.
