LACMA to Host Talk on White House Art, Decor

“An Inside Look at the Clinton White House,” featuring Kaki Hockersmith, a member of the Committee for the Preservation of the White House, will be presented by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art TODAY at 2:30 p.m.

Hockersmith, who worked on the Clintons’ redecoration of the White House, will give a historical perspective of the White House’s collection of art and antiques, and give attendees a description of the daily routine and special events at the residence.

The event is held in conjunction with LACMA’s current exhibition “The White House Collection of American Crafts.”
