Medical Charges

* Two months ago my husband spent two weeks in the mental unit of a local hospital. I got him removed as quickly as I could. When I received the bill, it was in excess of $14,000! What could doctors and staff do for someone and charge $7,000 a week?

Medicare will pay for most of this bill, but isn’t this why Medicare is going broke? Something must be done about the medical profession and their unfair charges. What happens to people who have no insurance?

I am concerned about the future of the Medicare program. And now I can understand why it is in so much trouble. And I am just one of millions of recipients.
