Bruin Ticket Giveaway Set

Share

UCLA and the L.A. Unified School District have joined forces in an outreach program to district students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The Bruins will give qualifying students 40,000 tickets to each of the Arizona State, Stanford and Washington State games.

The idea is a program called “I’m going to college,” and school principals will determine to whom the tickets will be distributed.

“They might give them to kids who pass a test or do their homework or whatever,” said UCLA Coach Bob Toledo, who accompanied Chancellor Charles Young and some players to Mark Twain Middle School to announce the program.
