Boy, 13, Arrested in Death of A.F. Veteran

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A 13-year-old boy was charged Wednesday with shooting to death an Air Force veteran who was walking his dog before dawn. The dog was also fatally shot.
The seventh-grader had been arrested at school Tuesday. He pleaded innocent in a judge’s chambers to a charge of second-degree murder and was held without bail Wednesday. The shooting apparently stemmed from an argument, police said.
