‘Urban’ Pay-TV Network: BET Holdings Inc. and Liberty Media Corp. plan to launch a pay-TV movie network next February aimed at urban audiences. The network, which will be announced in New York today, will feature African American artists in virtually every movie. BET, which operates the Black Entertainment Television cable channel, and Liberty Media, the programming subsidiary of Tele-Communications Inc., will each have a 49% interest. There will be some celebrity investors, sources said.
