Wiz Technology Replaces Outside Auditor

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — Wiz Technology Inc. has hired Grant Thornton LLP to replace Coopers & Lybrand as the software company’s outside auditor.

Coopers & Lybrand LLP resigned in August but said at that time that its action did not involve any disagreements over the company’s accounting practices or financial disclosures. But the company’s stock fell 22% to $4.25 per share after the resignation was announced.
