Mutiny Gets Playoff Win

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Roy Lassiter scored two goals in the final eight minutes Wednesday night to give the Tampa Bay Mutiny a 2-0 victory over the Columbus Crew before 20,807 in the first game of their Major League Soccer Eastern Conference playoff.
Tampa Bay can wrap up the best-of-three first-round series Saturday at home.
Lassiter, who leads the MLS with 29 goals, has scored 27 in his last 25 games.
