Pinnacle Micro Changes

IRVINE — Pinnacle Micro Inc. will take a one-time charge of about $4 million in the third quarter, related mainly to its plans to consolidate and transfer manufacturing operations from Irvine to Colorado Springs, Colo.
The company said some jobs will be eliminated in Irvine, but it did not elaborate.
Pinnacle Micro, which makes optical storage systems, earned $222,000, or 4 cents a share, for the third quarter last year on sales of $21 million.
