Brea Olinda 16, Riverside Arlington 13--Brent Reimer scored six goals for Brea Olinda as the Wildcats (5-3) defeated Riverside Arlington to win the consolation championship.
Buena Park 18, Saddleback 14--Matt Bott scored four goals for Saddleback. Buena Park’s record improved to 8-4.
Canyon 21, Cerritos Gahr 6--Brad Schaefer scored 11 goals in a consolation victory for Canyon (9-6).
Mission Viejo 7, Marina 5--Carlos Gonzalez stopped 15 shots for Mission Viejo (6-7). The Diablos’ Wes Anderson lead all goal scorers with three.
Saddleback 11, Cerritos Gahr 9--Hector Vasquez and Sergio Gonzalez each scored four goals for Saddleback (2-6).
Servite 11, Mission Viejo 8--Chris Hamme scored five goals and Brett Dallas had three goals for Servite (7-4). Carlos Gonzales recorded 18 saves for Mission Viejo (6-7) and Wes Anderson scored six goals.

At the Brea Olinda cross-country invitational:
Orange wins boys’ title--Orange runners placed first in three races to win with a total team time of 1:26.46. Orange’s Nick Russell set a course record in the 1-2 race, running a time of 16:25 over three miles at Carbon Canyon Park.
Max Villagomez won the 3-4-5 race with a time of 17:33 for the Panthers.
Orange’s Jose Childress won the other race with a time of 18:17.
Brea finshes second in girls’ competition--Brea Olinda’s girls finished with a collective time of 1:53.02 and took second place. Marisol Marquez of Glendora St. Lucy’s won the 1-2 race with a course record time of 20:03.
St. Lucy’s won the meet with a time of 1:48.06.
At the Yucaipa cross-country invitational:
Santa Margarita wins--Michael Murray ran a time of 15:37 over three miles at Yucaipa High as Santa Margarita won the Division II meet. Teammate Brandon Von Gunthner finished second in 15:52.
The Eagles’ girls finished third in Division II behind champion Yucaipa. Santa Margarita’s Katie Nuanes finished second in 17:51.
Kim Welsh of Yucaipa set a course record with a time of 17:29.
In the Fountain Valley field hockey tournament:
Marina 1, La Verne Bonita 0 (OT)--Tony Mora scored with three minutes to play in overtime as Marina (10-2-1) defeated La Verne Bonita in the championship final. Goalie Stacey Carman recorded six saves in the shutout for Marina.
In nonleague girls’ volleyball:
Corona del Mar 3, Mater Dei 1--Sarah Petry had 17 kills as Corona del Mar defeated Mater Dei 15-7, 11-15, 15-9, 2-15, 15-6. Janette Alshuler had 16 kills for the Vikings. Lauren Warner led the Mater Dei with 22 kills.
