Bankruptcy Judge Allows Kiwi to Continue Operating: Kiwi International Air Lines will stay in the sky until at least Tuesday while a judge ponders a financing plan for the troubled carrier proposed by Victor Kiam, owner of Remington Products Inc. Following a day of closed-door conferences, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Rosemary Gambardella authorized Kiwi to keep flying until a hearing on the plan Tuesday and maybe later. Kiam, smiling TV pitchman for his company’s Remington shavers, and financier Wilbur L. Ross Jr., husband of New York’s lieutenant governor, want to invest $2 million in Kiwi in a bid to keep it in business.
